As you know, I’m a fan of print marketing. The most attractive feature of newspaper marketing is the FREE PRESS RELEASE, and I make full use of it.
We had a ¾ page press release for the Month of May, in our Local Town Pages newspaper. It’s a monthly newspaper that’s mailed to every residence and business in the town of Franklin. That’s great exposure for FREE, and you can’t miss it. It’s almost a full page!!!
This is a press release I created for the month of June. The more visibility a real estate agent/team receives, the stronger the branding. Press releases are FREE. Take advantage of them. I’ve been doing that for years and it help tremendously with branding my name.
I can remember, as a newly licensed agent, submitting a press release for the “top referring agent” for the month. I think I sent two referrals, and that WAS the top in the office for that month!! Just the thought of it makes me laugh, but I was determined to let everyone know I was in real estate. That was in 1978. I received feedback from that press release, and I never stopped using them from that point on!!!
