Hi Everyone! This past week I went to a college graduation - PhD's and
Masters, basically. We arrived an hour early, being we have a large family
and wanted to be seated together for this very special day. Having more than
enough time, I soon became absorbed in a large overhead screen and the
individual text messages students wrote thanking people in their lives who
had 'walked the journey' with them. However, the messages that seemed to
send an arrow to my heart -- and seemed to be truly in-depth, thanked 'Mom.'
In fact, they brought tears to my eyes.
Tomorrow is Mother's Day. To all our Mothers, to all our Moms, have a
beautiful day...you are really loved and we thank you for all you have been,
for all you have done. Thank you for loving and caring so much. Thank you!
We love you.
Jane

(Some of the Graduates text messages I copied from the overhead screen)
"I am grateful to my Mom and Dad, brothers, sisters, grandparents and
friends. We did it - this one's for you."
"I didn't give up."
"No more school. Woo Hoo!"
"Thank you Mom, Dad for your support and belief in me -- for your
dreams for me."
"I made it; I did it for you, my family. I did it for you, Ma."
"Through the challenge to the stars. It was a long, a tough journey,
but we made it because you believed in me!"
"It took a while, but now we can smile. Because we did it."
"Thank you to my husband and children for walking with me on this
long journey and supporting and cheering me up even in my darkest
times and moody moments."
"Thank you to my darling wife for walking so faithfully by my side and
for your strength. You were our anchor."
"Thank you Mom and Dad for all your love and support. And as I
promised, I will now move out."
"Ma, thank you for all your sacrifices, love, and support and for always
believing in me even when I had lost belief in myself. Your dreams for
me came true."
"Thank you, Mom, for all your sacrifices and love. We had a goal, we
had a dream and we did it; didn't we, Ma."
