Ballantyne Ranks High As A Top Place In Metro Charlotte To Raise A Family

Niche.com recently ranked 20 best places to raise a family in the Charlotte metro area and the Ballantyne area, which was broken down into two sections as Ballantyne West and Ballantyne East, ranked #6 and #7, respectively on the 2019 list. Ballantyne received A+ ratings as an overall grade for both areas. The Niche.com grading/scoring system takes into account key factors, such as the quality of local schools, safety, affordability, and access to family amenities, in an attempt to measure the appeal of an area for families.

When we first moved here, lots of agents in town thought I'd moved out to the boonies... no one thinks that any more!

That bodes well for the fture of Charlotte, the better the education system, the better the future of that city. When we started working with the Manhattan Beach School District while live in LA, the CA school system ranked at 49 out of 50 states overall. My nephew who wrote a paper on the Tsars of Russia, was told by the teacher that she did not know any Tsars.. That got my mother in a lather and she went to the principal with a research paper--she was a head research librarian for Nabisco (food science was her specialty). She was fuming and sputtering like only a French woman could...LOL

A few years ago, Realtor.com had it as one of the five most visited zip codes on their search page. I often get calls from people from out of town asking how they can search for homes in Ballantyne City. I tell them there's no such city... it's just a part of the City of Charlotte.
