My blog has been doing very well. And, I mean very well...as in generating a very full time income. (In fact, for many it would be 2 full time incomes).
My goal is to keep growing. So, I keep trying to learn and grow and diversify. I've been taking a bunch of steps lately to do that (including buying a second blog).
On Monday, I took another big step (or at least a big step for me).
I have 2 very successful SEO ebooks on my site. In fact, they've earned more than $25,000 net profit so far. Of course almost all those sales have been through affiliates. When I sell an ebook by myself I have a higher profit margin of course. And, of course, selling it either way is great for my bottom line.
So, I just created a FREE SEO course over email. It's a 5 day set of emails (all are free) and creates a funnel towards my 2 ebooks. And, it creates a new email list.
I've been meaning to do this since January. But, I've been so busy and putting this off for months. I haven't been using emails for 2.5 years...so long that I forgot how to use ActiveCampaign.
I finally did it. Yes, some tech glitches over the weekend and I was pulling my hair out (it's a good thing I have a lot of hair. You can barely notice).
So I put this up on Monday afternoon, and posted it in a blogging group to get advice. 1.5 days later, I now have 88 subscribers.
I now have to figure out how to promote it so that I get subscribers on a regular basis, and that's what I'm working on now (or over the next few weeks).
One of the suggestions was to create a separate landing page for the free course. The page is kind of bare since I don't know how to create these on Divi (I'm not tech savvy) so I will revisit this in the future. If you have an interest in signing up, click here.
Now, I will have a list where I can share my SEO and blogging knowledge. Of course I'll have to keep up with it each week. Crossing my fingers I can do this.
I will continue to update you with my progress over the next few weeks. Hopefully these steps I'm taking will continue to add more layers to my strong foundation. If they add an extra $2,000-$3,000/month, I'll be thrilled.
