I am here in Sacramento at the C.A.R. meetings and we are commited to going green. One of the tips I picked up today is the ECOENVELOPESTM SEND A STATEMENT and I wanted to share this with your since we all use envelopes.
Want to tell your green clients that you care, increase response rates on direct mail pieces, and save money? EcoEnvelopesTM allow you to send statements to clients in a reusable, double-perforated, eco-friendly envelope and forego the need to include a reply envelope.
It sounds a bit like origami, but it's easier: Outgoing mail's presorted bulk mail imprint appears through the envelope's transparent window; recipients simply place payments and response back in same envelope, pull down the double-perforated flap, seal it, and send. The U.S. Postal Service approved the envelopes for use in February and users report savings from no longer needing to send courtesy reply envelopes: http://www.ecoenvelopes.com/.

Kirk is doing his first bid on an all green home in San Leandro. He is pretty excited. We will see what happens. thanks for the info
Thanks for sharing this, Pam! I just finished the EcoBroker certification, and will add this to my list of eco-friendly resources.
Pam....that is so great. Give him my best.
John.....I am considering taking it. Did you do it online or in a class?
Pam, this is a good first step. Many of the homeowners and future homeowners that we send mail to become upset when they receive tons of junk mail that has been sent. Anything that we can do in order to be more "E-Friendly," will bring about more acceptance. Good tip on how we can be more responsible in our everyday business.
