Pondering Rock Paper Scissors

Pondering Rock Paper Scissors

Pondering Rock Paper Scissors  Sure, why not?  I mean you can certainly choose what works best for you.  Maybe a coin toss can come into play. Heads or tails.  And speaking of play there are lots of other games we can imagine or observe each and every day.  Of many varieties too.

Whether as a participant or as a bystander We have likely seen it. Are you up for the challenge?  When it comes to dispute resolution there may be precedents that are outlined.  And established. Likely in writing. Tried-and-true.

Examples of success can be found.  Previously made mistakes where lessons have been learned.  Games may be what seems acceptable at the time.  Maybe there's an alternative.  Think first.  Do not necessarily simply pass Go. Stop.  Think. Investigate your options.  It's really not a game.

Michael,

I never played the game, and when people do it, I remain flummoxed.  As a couple we discuss the pros and cons, and then move on in full agreement.  That is our way, and if we do not agree we do nothing.  It works for us.  A

Hello Michael, some of the best decision are made by a flip of a coin I hear.

Make it a great day!

James Dray - I have also never played.  At least not competitively.

Kat Palmiotti - a game of chance cannot compete with the act of calculated risks.

Sally K. & David L. Hanson - I know of the show but not some of the details including the one you mentioned.

Wayne Martin - I can't exactly recite the words of the rules in this game but I know enough to understand the lack of importance in Rock Paper Scissors in real life.

Dorie Dillard CRS GRI ABR - the theory of how to win in this game might make a good college thesis.  Or not.

Nina Hollander - pondering brings many thoughts.  Many make no sense to me at the time they occur.  And often afterwards.

Myrl Jeffcoat - I too read the excellent post by Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP .  The number of ponderers in and out of ActiveRain is likely larger than we might imagine.

Sheila Anderson - that's a comment worthy of pondering.

Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD - and then fairness enters the "game" and the discussion continues...

Carol Williams - life is a lot more important than just a game.  Well, most of the time, right?

Roy Kelley - a good thought to keep in mind.  Always.

Alexandra Ron and Alexandra Seigel - "flummoxed" may be just the right word to describe this type of situation.

Will Hamm - I wonder about that.

Michael Jacobs and Myrl Jeffcoat - I have been very busy and hopefully will have an executed contract some time today and didn't read your post. But I have to say, out of respect, I have no intention to compete with your theme on pondering. After all, you are the unofficial Master of Pondering on Activerain.

As for "Rock, Paper Scissors," I never played the game but I know my kids did and I didn't take the time to analyze what they were doing or feel threatened by what they were doing. It was their game. I am in hopes that nobody felt threated by my post. Pondering is something I have done my whole life. My favorite spot when I was a kid was sitting on the front porch under the aluminum canopy while it was raining thinking random thoughts. I always wondered do all people ponder? I really think they do.

Michael, you are the Master and I am one of your loyal subjects in the rain who appreciates all your blog posts and comments. too. The fact is, I pale in comparison to your ponderings.

Recently two of my nephews wanted to ride a ride with me, so I made them play rock, paper, scissors to see who got to ride with me first.  The younger one won and there was no argument from the older one!

Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP - first, best of success with your contract and on the subject at hand there's such a plethora of pondering available, I look forward to the many examples I see here on ActiveRain and elsewhere in life.  It should be encouraged.

Alexandra Ron and Alexandra Seigel - both are great words and not used nearly enough.

Brian England - kinda like the movie "Fight Club".  Some things don't need to be discussed.  What happens during Rock Paper Scissors stays there.  The outcome of the game speaks for itself obviously.

Hi Michael- well what about the magic 8 ball? I mean, it's one thing to decide if you're going to buy a certain outfit or purse, or where to go for dinner playing rock, scissors, paper or a flip of the coin. However if it were to decide something major, I wouldn't rely on that!

Rock Paper Scissors...fun for sport, but I certainly wouldn't want to make important decisions using it. I'm not sure if the grands are familiar with it, I will have to check.

Hey Michael Jacobs my first thought was - OMG that photo is a striking image of a guy who's been a good friend for many years.  And then I went on to ponder....there are many ways of saying, hey let's move on or move forward...how about this or that?  Done.

Anna Banana Kruchten CRB, CRS 602-380-4886 - no charge for the pondering moment this post or that image inspired.  As far as options...there are many...maybe even countless.
