"Recognition is the greatest motivator" ~Gerald C. Eakdale

Don't forget to recognize those around you as recognition truly is the greatest motivator.  We all know how it feels to accomplish something at the top of our priority list but remind yourself of the feeling when someone says ‘Great Job' or you see your name on a bulletin board for your accomplishment.

Take time out today to list some names of people who you think need recognition for what they've done-give them a call, tell your go to person at the office that you appreciate them, write a note to the person who helped you close a sale last week.  You never know when the gratitude will come back to you.

How does recognition help to motivate you and how will you motivate others?

The simple hand written note can go a long way... no one takes the time any more.... I just wish I could write a bit neater... My hand written notes look like scribbles on a doctors Perscription pad!

after visiting an open house a few Sundays ago... I was so impressed with the agent (who happend to be a licensed assistant for another agent) that I sent out a note to her "boss" letting them know how pleasant the experience was... I got more back from that note than I ever thought I would... It pays to be nice!
