Another Lake Wylie Gem Uncovered

I love showing and selling, listing and selling in the Lake Wylie area. The area is just booming right now as we watch the Steele Creek/Lake Wylie area grow and expand beyond what we thought the area would be 40 years ago! The first home I bought when I moved to Charlotte was in this area and we literally felt like we lived in the Boonies! Now Lake Wylie/Steele Creek is remarkably close-in with a shorter commute to Uptown than most areas of Charlotte.

We took this shot during our inspection last week - the house is situated on a great lot but, the previous owners had allowed the brush/trees to fill in the majority of the backyard, leaving very little of the spectacular lake views visible from the home. BOY, did we ever uncover a hidden gem for our client!

We are nearly through the Due Diligence period of this fabulous home and should be Closing on it later in the month. I am confident that by July 4, the owner will have those amazing views of the lake back! I will pay them a visit and snap a shot of the 'new view!'

When I moved to Sedona 16 years ago, we could see great views of the red rocks. Now in many of the areas, the pine trees are creeping up and we are losing some of the views. Unfortunately, we cannot cut them down or top them off.
