Busy Month of May

May 2008 - what a busy month!

Moving to Model Home Center was a great decision. I've had far more training and support than at the other Real Estate Companies I've worked for here in the Valley. May was filled with training and classes, even for someone who's been around a few years it was great to be a part of. Our Broker, Don Martin, is one of the best in Arizona. He has been on the Forms Committee multiple times (writing the Arizona Purchase Contract and other AAR Forms), is a continuing education teacher at the Phoenix and West Maricopa Boards, and is frequently called as an expert witness at Real Estate related trials. Just being around such an intelligent and professional Broker has improved my own attitude and given me much more confidence!

While not in training classes I've had the opportunity to begin doing mall time and visit several new home communities. It's exciting to see the builders busy selling homes again! All of the communities I visited reported that activity is really picking up, and a couple of the builders have actually raised prices recently. No one has been willing to predict that we've reached the bottom of the market, but the signs seem to suggest that if we haven't yet, it's very close!

What's in store for June? Well, I have scheduled plenty of mall time, there are always the ongoing training classes, and I have one showing scheduled already and a couple of warm leads to follow up on! I expect the summer to be very busy indeed!
