Change your thinking here. We have an existing mindset regarding problems i.e. that they interfere with our lives and take-away from the enjoyment of our activity, gain or planning. Yes they do all that and more but why be surprised, put-off or stopped from having and pursuing your want, need or end result? Problems in and of themselves have no such power on their own but only the power that we give them
WHOSE IN CHARGE?
That's what we will find out when a problem arises i.e. who is in charge, what is needed to course correct or fix and how to keep whatever took place from happening again. Progress in any subject or circumstances is expected ( & normal) & as the primary intelligent steward of the planet (& our own lives) we are expected to step-up to this. We are in charge here
WHAT IS GOING ON?
Problems have a way of getting our full attention like it or not. Perhaps that is why they exist. It may be a call to conquer, change or attend to something whose time has come to be modified or eliminated. I would prefer a gentle, timely reminder or call to action and those do come. However......
LET ME KNOW PLEASE...
So that correction, restitution, or a continuation can take place and provide the necessary benefit (s). Have you ever caught something before it could become a problem? There is a satisfaction in doing that. Catching it after the fact also is rewarding but comes with a slap or wake-up sting of some sort but useful
PROBLEMS-SOLUTIONS
Why are we caught off-guard when experiencing a problem? Simply put our emotions are disturbed. We have been distracted from either a pleasure or comfortable existence and don't like it. Who can disagree? However, the lesson of "this is not a perfect world" with 100% guaranteed results needs to be learned sooner rather than later. This will reduce the anxiety of being knocked around, disturbed or inconvenienced when it rears its ugly head or sneaks-in the back-door of life
FIRST AID KIT...the premise
We don't spend much time wondering what to do if something happens (we would go nuts) but there are certain controls one can put into effect and have them be there if and when they do. A typical first-aid kit offers ready, willing and able solutions to the unexpected in regards to an injury/illness.
SPARE-TIRE...the premise
A car is a complicated machine that has been made simple to use, have and maintain. However, if one wheel or tire doesn't perform, the whole mechanism comes to a halt. Past circumstances, history and expected issues known in advance allow us to offset their untimely intrusion. A spare tire keeps us going
ASPIRIN...an encouragement
Animals of long ago knew instinctively about the bark of certain trees, the eating of certain plants & the benefits of mud to help treat, relieve & cure an injury of many a sort. They don't pay any of this a mind until they need it but they know it is there. We discovered it by watching them. Now we have their solution to help us too when needed
UNLESS YOU LIVE IN A BUBBLE...
Vacations come with unexpected issues, work may offer a change not to your liking and a medical necessity may visit along with financial hardships, and other non-wanting events but we have the ability to solve and move forward when they do. Even if we don't, we summon hope which in its self remedies quite a bit. There is no escape from what might or could happen only the reality that follows....
DEFEAT-NEVER!
We were not put here to be defeated. Let that sink-in. There is something within the human existence that calls out to us to rise above, to begin again and to even accept or adapt so that we may continue until we cannot. The human spirit has this and it cannot be turned off. However don't confuse this with....
SURRENDER
This is a fascinating subject. When we assess that the best approach is one where we need not to resist but let happen what we cannot control, a cycle may be trying to complete its journey and we would do well to let it and then execute our part for the better. Knowing when to do this involves maturity & experience
GOOD NEWS or BAD NEWS
If something is not going right or about to I am of the make-up of those people who want to know not because I enjoy the process but so that I can use that knowledge to take action to mitigate, offset or eliminate the unwanted intruder/circumstances whoever or whatever it is. Tell me the bad news cause the good is coming after that
NOTICE THIS
We do not dwell on the problem anymore than is necessary that we do. Why is that? Perhaps it was never meant to be and because the potentials for it exist we find ourselves having to have an awareness so that we can introduce the cure when needed. After that, life is to be lived not feared. Life is welcomed. Failure is not
THE DEFAULT
Well-ness, good-ness, winning, satisfaction, gain and even the miscellaneous rewards and pleasures are all there and best enjoyed in moderation and portion. The more matured individuals know this. Perhaps accepting this reality as a gift makes it worthwhile especially when things don't go as planned. What then?
BE REMINDED
Of all the times things went well. Take nothing for granted. Instead, develop an ongoing state of appreciation and gratitude for what did (or does) come your way and to your liking and be glad in it. A type of humility and easy-peace (care-free-ness) will come about a sort of silent thank you and for now, this is part of it all. So be it...
