Here is the island wide Maui sales stats for homes and condos for June, 2019. Home prices on Maui hit a new high in April and went back down to normal levels in May. The median home price jumped from $712,718 in March to $819,500 in April. In May the median home price on Maui went down to $705,000. The median home price in April was affected by fewer sales overall and more $1M+ homes selling than usual.
Single Family Homes:
In May 133 single family homes sold with a median price of $705,000 and an average price of $915,304. At the end of May there were 445 single family homes for sale on Maui which is approximately 4.8 months of inventory.
Through May 449 single family homes have sold with a median price of $740,000 and an average price of $988,538. The median sale price has increased 7.6% the first five months of 2019 compared to the first five months of 2018.
Condominiums:
In May 142 condominiums sold with a median price of $518,500 and an average price of $706,941. At the end of May there were 487 condominiums for sale on Maui which is approximately 3.9 months of inventory.
Through May 685 condominiums have sold with a median price of $517,000 and an average price of $680,671. The median sale price has increased 6.7% the first five months of 2019 compared to the first five months of 2018.
