The English Beat opens the First Summer 2019 Free Beach Boardwalk Concert Series on Friday, June 14 at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm in Santa Cruz.
With a blend of reggae, soul, pop and rock, The English Beat is best known for their 1980's hits "Save it for Later," "Mirror in the Bathroom," and "I Confess."

Next week's concert on June 21, features local favorite Smash Mouth.
Other free concerts scheduled this season include Everclear, Pride & Joy Foghat, Bad Company former lead singer Brian Howe, Taylor Dayne, Y & T, Living Colour, 10,000 Maniacs, Journey former lead singer Steve Augeri, and Papa Doo Run Run.
