I wasn't planning on buying any art for our walls - I was just going to look at the exhibition, and also enjoy the tranquility and views of the Valley from Taliesin West in Scottsdale AZ - Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home and desert laboratory.
Well, it didn't happen exactly so.
Myself and almost everybody present seemed to leave with a roll of prints.
After the opening of the exhibition, and the short introductory speech of the curator, the audience somehow moved from the theatre seats into a long line, waiting to purchase their favorite prints.
The poster-style exhibits, showing buildings and homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, are attractively displayed in the Music Pavilion and look even more dramatic with the architect's favorite Cherokee-red background.
