Our Buyers were in Love...with each other as newlyweds....and the house that was exactly what they wanted...where they wanted 
it...decorated as they dreamed...on an acre lot...the stars had aligned !
We called the listing agent, a newcomer to the business who was amazed at the number of showings and multiple offers. When we called to find out the desired closing date and other things important to the Sellers she also said that the Sellers did not want any escalation clauses in the offers. That's a new one for us...we relayed that to our Buyers and sat down to craft our offer. Four slightly different personalities ...each having an idea of what the "perfect offer" would be to make the dream house their home.
The end result was what we all believed was an offer that the Sellers could not refuse....and now we waited. Every digit was crossed and it was 
now over an hour later than the agent had said she would have a decision.
We each had our guesses...was the wait a good sign...or a bad one.....And then the Caller ID lit up with the listing agent's number....the moment we had all waited for....was finally here.
Congratulations ! Another one of our favorite words ! Even after decades in this business...tears still come easily with good news of the next Happily Ever After becoming reality...the team work of two agents and well prepared Buyers paid the dividend we all had hoped to earn.
Smiles, hugs, tears and the best kind of tired...knowing that 
everyone's best accomplished the goal of an accepted offer. Mission accomplished !
