Its has been a while since I posted so I just wanted to write a small post about our local market.
Cedar City real estate it tied with Las Vegas in a way and lately our prices for homes over $300,000 have been declining. What has been nice is homes under $300,000 have stayed strong dispite the hard to get mortgages, investors and general fear in the market place.
I feel this correction has been extremely benifical for our area. The correction has allowed homes to come back down to reasonable limits and made them more affordable for people who are trying to purchase a home to live in.
