Holding a Successful Dog Friendly Open House Event

Themed open houses can make quite an impact, bringing the FUN into a community. Be sure to plan ahead, potential buyers with pets will request pertinent information and be wowed with your thoroughness and expertise.
Inviting buyer agents, the entire neighborhood and surrounding area residents with their dogs is crucial for a good turnout. Dressing up in a dog costume to greet potential buyers is priceless! Other homeowner's may appreciate the creativity, ask for business cards and keep you in mind when ready to sell their property.

- Dog costume
- Multiple signs
- Bright balloons
- Play-list of dog songs
- Dog biscuits for the pups
- Dog groomer in the house
- Referrals to local Veterinarians
- Information on dog park locations
- Paw print or bone shaped people cookies
- Coupons from local pet stores for products
- Registration book for follow-up calls, emails, etc.
An opportunity drawing such as: A day stay at a local pet hotel, posh bubble bath, grooming and nail clip or check-up with a trusted veterinarian. The buyer and it's human may cross the threshold, love the place and submit an offer, getting you ever closer to achieving the client's goals.
