Every agent starting out wants a shortcut, a key to get there quickly, today, right now. And indeed sometimes you may find a shortcut or a key that opens up new idea and possibility. But success is built like everything else one step at a time. You can't have a home without a foundation. And you can't have a foundation unless you build one. When it comes to your life and your career no one can build it for you or give it to you, you cannot steal it, you cannot imitate it, you cannot inherit it, it's your foundation and yours alone and you must build it by yourself. If you make it a labor of love you are going to love the home you create. If you begrudge the many hours of labor it's not likely you will enjoy the final product very much.
In short there is no magic bullet when it comes to building your real estate practice. Developing potential clients, staying in touch with everyone, building relationships, getting and staying organized, these are the foundations that will inevitably give you a fine and flourishing practice.
