Just a shout out to my neice Paige Alms - women's big wave surfing champ!  She's from Maui and she's going to the Olympics next year to surf for Team Canada!  Check out this amazing young woman, and look for her film coming soon.

We saw the film at the Celestial Cinema in Wailea Maui, and it's really good.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel Jaws is a huge phenomenon here on Maui.  When the big waves go off, it becomes a circus on the north shore!  This Excellent Life also shows the history of Jaws becoming such a big wave Mecca, from it's earliest days in the 80's.  Very interesting to see this all unfold over the last 40 years or so.

Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089 - Congratulations to your niece Paige Alms. She is remarkable. Paige has incredible strength and knows that fear is her enemy. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers because I have a daughter who is also a risk-taker and received her humble beginnings learning how to surf when she lived in San Diego. Paige's skill is surreal!!!

I think about the old Wonder Woman movies and dolls and Paige has exceeded all the courage and strength it takes to be a TRUE WONDER WOMAN! I'll be cheering for her when she goes off to the Olympics next year.  Congratulations Aunt Georgie!
