A Journey To Portugal on a Cruise Ship (Part 2)

When I posted A Journey to Portugal on a Cruise Ship, Mirela had asked me if I would consider
doing a part 2 with more pictures. "Of course", I said, but I have been trying to keep a handle
on my real estate marketing and client base, ( excuses excuses!) so it has been awhile in
posting this blog. I apologize Mirela for taking so long.

What spurred me on to finally complete this post is....I am going back to Europe on June 16, 2008!
I am so excited about my trip because I had not been planning it what so ever. It just happened
and I am also taking my seasoned little traveler daughter, Aliesha!

So... here are a lot more photos of Lisbon, Portugal. It was an amazing trip and I will forever
remember the church in the photos below. Have you ever entered into a church and just felt so
compelled to pray? That is what happened to the whole group of us! It was unbelievable.

Enjoy!

... it is a  Cathedral!

I went to Portugal when I was 16 and it was AMAZING.  The thing I loved the best (besides the architecture) was the FOOD.  You simply do not find many Portugese restaurants here and still, they cannot duplicate the taste or the texture of the food.

Thanks for bringing out those fond memories!

Hi Lori...I love your photos.  Please share even more with us from Portugal #1 and, of course, #2 during and/or after.

Have a wonderful time.  What memories for you and Aliesha.

Take care and have lots of fun.

Renee- Because we were on a cruise we didn't have alot of time to spend in port. So unfortunatley the only meal we had was in a small cafe. But don't get me wrong the food was great we just didn't have time to explore the best food Portugal had to offer!

Leslie- Thanks for the nice comments on my photos! It was hard to capture all the beauty that our eyes actually see!

Kathleen- We are going to Paris! I was just checking for some tour guide books online. I don't think I will be able to receive them in time, so I am going to go check the library tomorrow. A few things I want to do for sure is Disneyland, Paris. I know my daughter will love that. Of course the Eiffel Tower, and lots of museums....

Lori, Love Lisabon with everything about it. People, food, architecture... Portugal is very close as language, life style and culture with the country I came from - Romania. Both latin speaking country same temper and artistic taste.

Arina- Thanks for stopping by. I loved it too! Everything about Portugal is beautiful. I hope to someday go back and be able to spend more time. That is one problem with cruises,(at least the ones I've been on) not enough time in ports. Have a great day!
