We were both delighted when we spotted this planter in the inner courtyard of the Palazzo Antinori. What clever way to use the logs as a planter! It would be easy enough to make!
Palazzo Antinori is a Renaissance palace located at the north end of Via de' Tornabuoni. It is owned by the Antinori family who are winemakers both in Italy and in Antica Winery the Napa Valley.

Myrl Jeffcoat we loved it, and if I was remotely skilled with a saw I would definitely duplicate it, but I am not...I shared the Chianti cart in May, when we first went there. 
Funny enough, although we lived in Napa for 6 and half years, and we visited many wineries, I had not heard of Antica, nor did anyone recommended it to us. If we go to Napa this year, we will make a point of visiting Antica..A

Well, if that isn't clever, Alexandra! That almost looks like an American design - something done to accent a log cabin in the mountains here. I'm going to have to share it with our friends who live in the the NC mountains - they love projects and this one would be a fun one to do outside their cabin!
