Summer is a great time to buy a ski condo or home in Park City UT
I find it is much easier for buyers to preview and purchase a Park City ski condo or home in the summer. Many times sellers will keep their ski property in a rental pool while trying to sell their ski condo or ski home which makes it very challenging to show buyers these properties. Ski rental properties are heavily occupied during the ski season with rental guests and many times can't be shown when occupied. The occupancy isn't as high for these properties in the summer, especially if you look during the week vs weekends. Also there tend to be less ski property buyers looking in the summer compared to during the ski season so its less competitive when making offers and sellers may tend to be more willing to negotiate in the summer. Summer is also a fantastic time to visit Park City Utah with so many wonderful mountain town activities. Many folks first come to Park City for the skiing and snowboarding but then end up also falling in love with summer activities in the Park City mountains.
