I saw this come over our fax the other day.  I briefly read it and thought it was rather silly.  Then I took a second look and thought, "Why in the world would anyone respond to a fax like this?

Have a look...

Work for me...Work for me!!!

Notice that it is written to "Real Estate Agent Available"  What does THAT mean exactly?  Shouldn't it be to "Real Estate Agents Available"?

Notice the misspelling?  Hmmm.  That might send up a red flag!  I'm not saying spelling errors are inexcusable, just that they're very checkable and fixable with a good word processor these days!  If you were going to send a fax to thousands of real estate offices, which is what I presume these folks did since it came from another state that is far away, wouldn't you have someone check it over first???

Needless to say, I didn't call these folks!  Would you???

PERSONAL NOTE - I haven't blogged in a while as I've been "recovering" from my trip to check on my mother who has cancer.  The weekend was frustrating as my parents were not very cooperative with our wishes.  An example, so that you'll understand...they won't even consent to getting a second opinion because they love their doctor so much.  Our position (me and my sister) is that he may be a fine doctor, but we want to be absolutely sure that everything possible is being done.  After all, this is our only mother!  Thanks for all the words of encouragement from everyone.

I hope your mother does all right.  And I agree with you that goom grammar and spelling are very important in the written communication pieces.

Tip on  dealing with elder parents facing these life changing situations... When events like this happen it rreminds them that they are getting old and life and control of things is slipping away. And hard yet is when a "CHILD" that they raised changed diapers ect... trys and takes control and becomes the care taker(read parent) they fight back not against you but about the idea of getting older and starting down the slip "old fokes" slope. So find a family friend to offer advise and you offer support and love give them space and control to move to you way of thinking

I get them calling my cell phone. I keep trying for a gentle way to say know to them but they rattle on and on. I just am not up for the pay up front for leads. I can get my own leads that go no where off of my own website. I do not need help on this one. I will pay referral fees at closing, but they want up front money and then you cannot get them back on the phone.

I wouldn't call this person. First it shouldn't have come over the fax-PERIOD! Second they should have made a phone call. Now on a second note- sorry to hear about your mom and I agree you should get a second opinion.

I know a Doc in Atlanta who has cancer doctors sending her patients that they can't cure, and she is reversing their cancer.  Based on what you have written, your parents may not listen, but you still have to try.  Want more information, contact me.  She isn't the only person doing this, there are others around the country.

Hi Bob!
Figured you were busy with your parents when you skipped a few days.  It must be so difficult and heart breaking to have the best of your parents interest in mind and for them not to recognize it. hang in there!

The fax?...yea...it is against the law to send spam faxes...the first reason to ignore it.  I don't know if you have tried it, but these typically have a way to tell them to no longer send faxes....you know what happens?....they change their fax number by one digit...and do it again!!! Amazing!

I would not do business with that type of company... and if I were going to do it, it certainly wouldn't be with people that can't write.

How unprofessional. Good grief, learn how to proofread before you send anything out.

Sorry to hear about your mom. Please be persistent and get her the help she needs. Your family is in my prayers this evening.
