Proposed AT&T Cell Tower in Gaithersburg, Maryland

 

AT&T is proposing to place a cell tower and associated structure just off of Great Seneca Highway north of Upshire Circle. The Mayor and City Council will hold a discussion at their July 8, 2019 Work Session to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the proposed plans. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall. Learn more about the proposal on the project page here.

Yes Roy, I too am wondering what the residents of the area will vote on this proposed site. Some want better coverage, and some don't like the towers...

No one wants one of those ugly towers in their backyard but I guess that's the price for progress. I would be interested in hearing the outcome.

There is a community several miles from Sacramento which had a cell tower next to an elementary school, where a cluster of unusual cancers occurred in the children there.  The community fought to have the tower removed, and they won.
