The Lincoln Neighborhood

Lincoln is an urban neighborhood located in the central part of the city of Long Beach, California. The neighborhood is bounded by East Anaheim Street to the north, Junipero Avenue to the east, East 10th Street to the south, and Martin Luther King Jr Avenue to the west. The highly-developed community features various commercial establishments and restaurants along its roads with suburban neighborhoods mixed into these businesses. Different bus routes in the district provide an easy commute to and from the downtown district, and to other business centers in the city.

There is a diverse selection of properties you can buy in the Lincoln neighborhood. There are single-family homes, multi-family townhouses, and apartment buildings throughout the community. Houses in the area are relatively affordable compared to most homes for sale in the city.

There are several stores and restaurants along the main highways that run the neighborhood. Residents have easy access to stores for their daily grocery shopping. There are also several parks near the neighborhood including MacArthur Park which is north of the community. Bus stops within the community provide a convenient commute to other parts of the city including Downtown Long Beach.

What schools are available for Lincoln residents?

Lincoln Elementary School is the only school within the neighborhood which is in the western part of the community. Other schools near Lincoln that serve families living in the area are Whittier Elementary School and Long Beach Polytechnic High School.
