It is 2:30 in the Morning and I'm Celebrating

Yes, folks, I am celebrating. I have completed the e-PRO course and I feel as though I have a little time for Active Rain. With all the signs of an addict still very apparent, I jumped right back in with a post, lots of reading, and plenty of comments, so many that I am still sitting in front of the computer rather than up in bed where I belong.

One of these days I hope to learn how to do things in moderation. I do not seem to be able to do that very well here on the Rain nor in other areas of my life.

Having just finished e-PRO a couple of days ago, I began working on a new designation the following day. Now I am working on my AHWD. If you are wondering why AHWD stands for I will let you in on the secret. It means At Home With Diversity. I have to say that to myself each time prior to typing the acronym.

The course does interest me although I have not finish much of it. I just need some Rain time. Of course I may be overindulging.

I am wondering if many here on the Rain have earned the AHWD designation. Do you know anyone?

I will be getting back to it in a couple of days...meanwhile I want to play in the Rain.

Welcome back... and congratulations. I wondered why your face wasn't popping up on my subscription list as often lately.

Congratulations on your Epro. I need to get started on that. How long did it take?

Kathleen, congratulations on completing your designation! I bet it feels good :D

Hi Jesse...Yes, that was one of the things that kept me away.

I also spent a few days, with my husband, attending his class reunion at United States Military Academy. It always moves me when I attend a reunion at West Point and I took some photos so I'll probably write a blog about that trip soon.

I'll have to try to catch up on some of your posts. Hopefully you haven't written too many!

KATHLEEN - Congrats on getting your e-PRO designation. I haven't met anyone that has gotten their AHWD designation yet. You're right about having to say it in your head to type it. The letters don't exactly flow from the lips like e-PRO.

Hi Pam...It took me to long to finish because I started and stopped a few times doing very little each time. Finally I got serious about it and then it took me probably three or four days. I didn't find the first module to be as interesting as the other three although it covered infomation I was least familar with so it was important.

Good Morning Adam...What are you doing up? I'm curious. Are you still up like I am, or just getting up early?

I do not know anyone that has that ???? designation either. What is it again?

Kathleen, congratulations on finishing up the e-PRO designation. Now you should join and post this to the ePRO Group on Active Rain. I've heard of AHWD but don't know of anyone who has gotten it. As for me, I've got enough letters after my name at this point.

CONGRATULATIONS KATHLEEN!!! What an accomplishment! I have considered E-Pro, but there is so much going on right now I am afraid to tackle it. It is on my list of things to do, but .... :)

Hi Brian...For me, it is a little bit of self-preservation. I enjoy learning and also felt that I needed to get a little more savvy technologically...that's why the e-PRO. As far as the AHWD, it is also a statement of my interest in encouraging a more diverse world.

Brian, you not only have enough letters after your name, you also have lots of knowledge and smarts. I just don't want to lose what I've got!

Carol...I understand. I spent a lot of time wondering why I was doing this when I was busy with too many other things including work.

A course like that would have been easier to handle timewise when business was slower, perhaps in the winter.

I would encourage you to do it though because it will make you realize how much you do and don't know especially about the Internet and how best to utilize it.
