After going back and forth about buying a yellow lab, my husband and I decided to rescue a pit bull...we ended up taking 2...couldn't resist...are they cute or what??

This is Yodi, the little boy...

In case anyone is wondering...this brings us to 6 dogs total...a big family and we love it!!

There is nothing that will make one smile as easily as a puppy kiss...gotta love the puppy breath

Chris, thanx for stopping by and glad that we helped these two out, they are so darling...

JenRan, 6 is a blast...and a lot of work too.  We live in the country, no walking necessary, they are allowed to run around 10 acres.  I have invisible fencing that we will introduce to them when they get older...

Debi, Yes, adorable and yes, a handful...the mop hasn't been put away in 2 weeks...the wee wee is happening!!  thanx for stopping..

Robin, yes, pitties are misunderstood, these two are great...absolutely adorable, to say the least...

Patrice- Thank you and god bless you for helping these two beautiful blue pits. They are amazing dogs and a great breed of animal. As you know I am a big fan of Pitbulls. It is a shame people don't take care of them and do things to make the breed look bad, eventhough they are naturally human loving, friendly, loyal and caring. You have two amazing friends for life (well six but yeah lol). How old are those little cuties?

 How did you go about rescueing them if you don't mind my asking. I think it is a great thing but there isn't much of it around here (especially for Pitbulls). Animal Control (which has its own "for sale" shelter automatically puts down any pitbulls that are not claimed by the owner within 5-7 days, they do not even adopt the puppies out :*(. The police, human society, and animal control don't do anything when you report dog fighting around here either though :-0

Patrice- No dog you could have chosen would have made me happier than your rescuing two little pitbull puppies. They are banned where I live, which I think is a great injustice, and punishing the dogs for what people do! They are adorable! And when my two dogs and three cats start to drive me crazy, I will just think of you with your big family! ;)

Chris, I met a young man in real estate class who had 19 puppies.  They were 6 weeks in the pictures and are now 8 weeks and growing!! He knew that he could not sell all of them so he offered me one.  When I went to get him, he offered me a second one...a fluke really...it is terrible that they put down these dogs without proper cause, makes me sick...

I am the same way, thankfully Ashlee keeps me in check as I would probably have about 40+ pits, boxers and mastiffs (and yes that is 40 of each breed LOL)

Patty, thanx, they are cute and we decided to find them permanent homes after rescuing them.  One has been adopted and the other one is pending...I wrote about this in another post with more pictures
