"Ten years from now, make sure you can say you chose your life, you didn't settle for it."
We have a Challenge this month, hosted by Jeff Dowler, CRS, to write about what has happened in our life during the last decade. They've been very interesting to read and it makes you realize how much can happen in a span of 10 years.
An article I read this morning on Medium left me compelled to share it with you. It's about creating the NEXT 10 years.
Many of you may be beyond this point in your life and business but it may strike a chord with others.
So here it is:
Someone is Going to Live the Life You Want
I think it has some great food for thought... worth pondering, as Michael Jacobs would say. If you can't access the article because you don't have a subscription, let me know. I'll see if I can paste some of the key content for you. I thought about writing an article of my own based on the content, but why rewrite it when it's already been said so well?
Someone is going to live the life you want. Will it be you?
Morning Carol.
You are right, that is very well written. Looking back at my past, there would have been very few things I would have changed. Looking forward to my next ten years, if I'm still here, I wouldn't change a thing

How sad, Carol, would it be to live your life to the end and realize that you never did live the life you might have wanted or imagined.

On my way to living the life I envisioned, mischief got in the way. Yet, in the end, life has been far better spent this way.

Good morning Carol Williams life is meant to be lived. Hopefully we are all living it to the fullest. Thank you for this interesting link. Hope you are staying cool in the heat wave that has covered most of the country.
Happy Friday
Good morning, Carol - if not YOU, then WHO? If not now, then when? Bookmarked to ponder later but acting in the moment always(at least that's the plan).
Good Morning Missy Carol Williams ! Plain and simple writing style! Who can't follow that good advice. I know what I want to do doing in 10 years! Playing golf!
Good morning Carol. I will certainly read the re-blog and your thinking matters.
Hi Carol- I was able to access the article and it was a good one. It reminded me of an older friend who is in an accommodating marriage. When I spoke with her about it, all she could say to me was that she was "biding her time." I was dumbfounded! She's 70++ and I said "For what!!!"
