Alligator Spotted Once Again in Phoenix...

Alligator Spotted Once Again in Phoenix...

Can this be true you ask?  Alligators in Phoenix? Well, there are real alligators at the Phoenix Zoo! But the only other 'alligator' I know of is the one  we saw at the North Phoenix Preserve while out hiking

Read the Original Gator Story! This 'gator' was getting a LOT of attention from the hikers, especially the kids. And naturally I had to share the location of the 'gator' with all I met on the trails!  Have I told you about the baby dinosaur caves at the Preserve? Not yet?  I will!!

And hey, if you are looking for an experienced real estate broker that knows how to make the buying and selling of Phoenix area homes simple and fun, yes actually fun  - call me, Anna Banana! Be sure to check out my credentials as well.Having a Top Banana in your court is a good thing, a very good thing!

P.S.  I'd be happy to show your kids the baby dinosaur caves once it cools down enough to go hiking!!!!

Life is Supposed to be Fun!

Hey Sally K. & David L. Hanson that thought has crossed my mind as well.  We think about buying a beach home every once in a while but I think we're more focused on NC where grandkids live.

HAHA Michael Jacobs it helps to have a wild sense of imagination while out hiking in the preserve. Lots of cool stories.....and lots of visitors with little kids, scared of hiking in the desert need encouragment and a sense of adventure. They get over being scared real fast, especially looking for baby dinosaur caves! I'm seen many a smile over the years from kids - and their parents or grandparents!!  Fun!! All in my job!!

Seriously Wayne Martin you guys had an alligator sighting. Did it escape from a zoo or maybe a 'pet'. Who has pet alligators? Is that allowed? Oh wait, I remember some guy last year or so in FL I think had a 'support' alligator. Creepy!

Hi Marte Cliff well you do have your share of wild animals to consider, for sure. And now AZ doesn't have real alligators except at the zoo!! Makes for great stories for kids - which I love to share!

Marte Cliff

Between that and your baby dinosaurs, you can keep them supplied with stories to take home to their friends.

Hi Myrl Jeffcoat when I first found it really did look so much like an aligator so I just had to make up that story. Too good to pass on that fun!

Anna Banana Kruchten CRB, CRS 602-380-4886 - Alligators are on the prowl! I recently heard about the alligator in Humbolt Park in IL I saw that Wayne Martin mentioned it too. My grandparents lived over there and I always thought the word "Lagoon" was odd for that park. How crazy that you had one that looked like one in the Deserts of Phoenix! Cute! You crack me up with your wild imagination! You'd make a great storyteller at a campsite telling stories to kids by the campfire!

I remember stopping somewhere at a Campsite - I think it was in Flagstaff and at that time, I thought, I should remember this place when it's time to retire to be one of those tour people in the National Parks.

Have a wonderful day and keep the inspirations flowing! I like when it flows my way!

P.S. Did you read one of Beth Atalay recent posts or maybe it was on FB? There was an alligator in her yard in FL! She was glad Buddy wasn't outside. Me too!

Ha, this is a cute one Anna, and I recall hearing about this local gator before in a post. Alligators are one of those creatures that I give wide berth. They are not to be trusted...much like brown bears.

Hey Patricia Feager, MBA, CRS, GRI,MRP I did see that Wayne Martin talked about the alligator sighting in Chicaco. Who knew!!! Crazy!!  And yes, there are lots of parks to 'volunteer' at during the summer months espeically in my neck of the woods. That would be interesting to see what the process is to get going on that....

And no I didn't see Beth Atalay as I am no longer on FB.

Hi Debb Janes EcoBroker and Bernie Stea JD it's been a lot of fun telling this story and others!  I do it for the SMILES on both the kids and parents faces! I used to do a lot of hiking in CO, MT etc and we always steered clear of bears and took great precautions as well.

Oh MY! That looks like a big one to me! Thankfully we don't see them here in Charlotte but, I did see one when I was in Hilton Head recently, Anna. I think their unpredictability is what scares me to death about them!
