What we love about our home is being part of the culture of the Chesapeake Bay. You will enter the neighborhood through a one land road that ends in a cul de sac. There is limited traffic and the area very quiet and private. The neighborhood is safe for bike riding with scenic views of the river.
Our property is located on a secluded creek situated in Middle River. The property has a pier and 3 boat slips. The creek is very protected for keeping a large or small vessel. This location provides you full boat access to The Chesapeake Bay. No Speed limit on the river during the weekdays. In addition, the property has fared well through hurricanes and Norwesters. The property is 12 foot above sea level with no water damage from Hurricane Isabel.
Living on the waterfront, involves boating, fishing, crabbing, swimming, tubing, kayaking and much more. Restaurants and live entertainment options are abundant on the river with six restaurants accessible by water without leaving the protected waters of the river.
This house has the sun in the morning and shade on the waterfront side in the afternoon. This is important in the winter as it heats up faster and the summer it keeps the deck and pier cool.
We wake up in the morning with a view of our creek. Bird watchers will see ospreys, bald eagles, herons, geese and ducks as well as variety of other birds from your deck. You can fish and swim right from your pier while you watch boats cruising by in the distance.
