Arizona is in the business of doing business and attracting new business start ups and businesses and residents from elsewhere...especially California.

In this era of a booming economy in the US, led my the elimination of business killing regulations, Arizona has just taken another first step as Arizona becomes the first state to accept most professional or occupational licenses issued in other states as acceptable and encouraged. Arizona is encouraging professionals to move to Arizona. What a concept!

Arizona is Open For Business- Come on Over!

Welcome to ArizonaArizona is continuing other efforts  in US of elimination of job killing regulations has become the first state in US to accept out of state professional or occupational licenses

Arizona has become the first state to allow professional licensees of most types to transfer their out of state licenses to Arizona to start in business right away with gainful employment.

Lurissa Carbajal, April 10, 2019 of Cronkite News reports on the professional licenses now being accepted,  stating, "Gov. Doug Ducey on Wednesday signed House Bill 2569, making Arizona the first state to recognize out-of-state occupational licenses across the board.

Ducey, who was driven to the signing ceremony at the Capitol in a U-Haul truck, said the law will remove barriers to employment for about 100,000 people who are expected to move to Arizona in 2019.

House Bill 2569 allows a person who has held an out-of-state occupational license for at least one year to practice their profession in Arizona as long as they abide by the outlined stipulations, including being a current certified or licensed professional in good standing, and do not have any pending complaints, allegations or investigations relating to unprofessional conduct.

The law will affect industries that require a license to operate, including health care professions, teaching, accounting and engineering."

Arizona is already booming in population growth. For example, Maricopa County (Phoenix metro area) is already the fastest growing county in the United States with 6,000+ new arrivals every month. Most of these people are fleeing California, heavy in government regulations and state taxes. This is another reason for professionals to come to the Grand Canyon State of Arizona. Scottsdale Arizona was recently selected as the best city in the US to find a job.

Carbajal further reported that Govenor Ducey, who has long championed deregulation, contends that a person’s skills are not diminished just by crossing state lines. The change will allow those who move from other states to “work faster and without all the red tape,” he said.
