Tanglewood Tonight..........

It is humid now and will be hot later. I am scheduled at Tanglewood tonight at a secondary venue for YoYo Ma, Emanuel Ax and Leonidis Karakos. The program is terrific but the evening will be hard. I think this may be my last season working at Tanglewood for numerous reasons. I park in the handicapped section and I have been hassled by the 15 and 16 year olds who direct traffic there. That coupled with long hours on my feet are factors I'm not sure I want to handle anymore. Six more concerts and then I'm done.

Meantime I can go as a guest and get back to simply enjoying the music. Have a good day.

I f you are still able to attend the concerts without having to work, that sounds ideal.  Yo Yo Ma is very well known.  I'd love to see him live.  I played Cello all through school.  I haven't been able to keep my knees together since.
