My Parents Anniversary

I have a similar mental ritual on my parent's anniversary as well.  My dad passed in 1966, and my mother 1975.  But, I keep up the practice.

I'm also sure, they are very proud of how their daughter has lived her life.  

Parents are a great gift and know that their spirits are always with you

Hi Sheila... I actually never knew my parents' anniversary date... and since they were divorced by the time I was six years old, there'd be no reason for me to think about it... it was not a good marriage. I do, however, always remember my mother's birthday and the date of her death.

Sheila Anderson - Anniversary dates never stop, nor do we stop thinking of the people we loved. It hurt me a lot after my husband died. The anniversary cards stopped. I was still here but the cards and caring wishes stopped. I know how you feel.
