I've seen that video before. It touched me then, and it touches me now. That is probably one of the most powerful speeches I have ever heard. Too bad no one listened back then. I wonder what the girl who delivered that speech is doing today.
WOW! that is amazing and got me teary eyed because the sad part is the little girl is so right! We have to really think about our future and our children's future, afterall we did make a promise to keep them safe! Great Job finding this Kristi!
Gregory - Th DH (Darling Husband) was sitting next to me when I stumbled onto that video...I looked over at him about half way through and saw tears in his eyes.....You can learn more about the girl that gave that speech here. She is now a young woman and graduate from Yale.
Hi Midori - Thanks for stopping by. It is a powerful speech...especially coming out of the mouth of such a young girl.... The DH and I were talking today about the difference between those that have the gift to orate and motivate and those who do not. She got my attention with that speech...
