Paul Franklin Crouch was born in St. Joseph, Missouri back in 1934 to Andrew and Sara. After the death of his father when he was seven he was raised by his mother. He graduated from the Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri with a degree in theology in 1955. After graduation, he was an announcer at KRSD in Rapid City, South Dakota.
From 1965 to 1970 he was the general manager of KREL radio in Corona, California. After he left in 1970 he served as general manager for KHOF-FM in San Bernardino, California. He died in Orange, California in 2013, he was 79.
What you may not know about Paul is that in 1973 he and his wife Jan founded the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). TBN is viewed globally on 70 satellites and over 18,000 TV and cable affiliates. The broadcast is seen globally, translated into over eleven languages. According to the Top 30 Station Groups it holds fourth, fifth and sixth place.
