You know we are all guilty sometimes of not taking advantage of those things right in front of us. If I lived in DC would I REALLY make a weekly trip to the Smithsonian's Air and Space Museum? I don't know, but I certainly hope so.

Here in Orlando we are blessed with probably the very best family entertainment anywhere in the world - and yet, I don't take advantage of it as often as I should.

But YOU can!! There has literally never been a better time to move here than right now. Never been a better time to buy property than right now. But the beginning of the end may well be here. The bottom has been reached and the first teeny tiny signs of a turn appear to be present in the market too. Money is still cheap and with the right representation (that would be me), spectacular deals can be done.

If all that isn't enough - we currently have Blue Man Group as residents. If you've never seen them, then I can tell you the comedy is even better than the music - which is a joy! I saw them for the very first time this week - it won't be last!! Here's a small taste for you.

It is certainly a great time to move to Orlando. I have clients who moved there yesterday! The Blue Man Group has been entertaining Vegas forever and they are spectacular. Nic to hear you are seeing an upturn. Best of luck.

I was in Orlando two days ago and today on vacation from the Chicago area. I can't argue at all! Orlando is awesome with so much to do!

Chris - Orlando really does have it all - and through all of this, we still have a growing economy. LaNita - I'm pleased you had a good time. I have clients from Chicago. If you know any more that plan on escaping the winter, refer them to me. I'll take exceptional care of them.

Orlando area has way more to offer than just the parks. Disney World is the world, we often underestimate it. 26,400 acres would take you 1 hour to drive the perimeter at 60 mph.

Then go to the Wildernes Lodge and look at the way the trees and plants look noticeably nothern. Just a mile and a half away is the Polynesian Resort. Both are Magic Kingdon Resorts, but it is a shocking difference. A World oif difference.

I could spend weeks in Orlando and enjoy every minute of it. From strolling the streets of Town of Celebration to a boat tour of the Butler Chain of Lakes...

It is just incredible what that city offers to visitors

Simon, I've only been there on a two week vacation and oh my gosh there is certainly enough stuff to do to keep you there much longer. Both indoors and out, never a boring moment. That was in the month of June, it was very warm. Here in ohio it gets very warm in the summer but its the humidity that zaps ya. On a typical 90 degree day, how's the humidity there? Move to Orlando, leave the Ohio winters behind? Seems like a no-brainer. Ha! Do you handle rentals? Being such a "gypsy" seems I never permanantly plant myself in one place. I guess I'm still looking for the perfect place and won't "settle" for less, ya know what I mean?

Jon - you are correct - and of course we are so close to Daytona as well for those beach trips! NJ The humidity here in the summer is high. Most days at around 4pm we will get heavy rain which cools things off though. That's a good time to be indoors! And yep we do rentals.

I like the Blue Man Group, have seen them twice in Vegas.

I like golf, have golfed a lot in the Orlando area.

Like to visit the Orlando area, but, a little too busy around there for me to live.

Ah but Mike, we have plenty of places to live out in the country that are just 25 minutes from all the action!

Simon, I really don't remember the rain. Must of been enough indoor activity to keep me busy at that time each day. I do remember seeing pink flamingos walking right through the backyard at the house I was staying in. I'd never seen one out and about, that was pretty cool. And the restaurants, you have them all and then some. Plus, as I mentioned before NASA launched a shuttle for me while I was there too. You're probably used to them by now but sitting on the bank of the (banana river?) Waiting in the stifling heat with only one bottle of water and no blanket to sit on I thought to myself this can't be worth it. Oh my god, when that shuttle launched and wasn't scrubbed like I figured it would be I was in awe. The ground beneath me shook, it seemed like forever and it vibrated my whole body and I felt a great deal of pride in my country at that moment. I've had earth shaking experiences but that had to be one of the top. Yep, you certainly have it all there it seems. Maybe if I ever "settle" I'll do a trial run rental. I've got your number. NJ
