My Personal Tickler File
Pondering My Personal Tickler File I think it's great to know there is a virtual warehouse of good things that is available and can be found in our personal tickler file. Ready for us to find-as-needed(and just because) as a remembrance of the many good things in our world.
A recent comment on one of my posts by Lise Howe made it clear to me that I need to pay attention to those subtle and not-so-subtle reminders about the good and kindness that we see each and every day. It needn't be some elaborate system. Simple mental memos. Observing. Being there and being here. Things that are not necessarily out-of-the-ordinary but kindness and generosity as part of everyday life.
In her comment Lise made mention of her daughter who is "wonderfully empathetic" and a "gift" to her friends and family. Her comment made me ponder.
I am sure we each can cite at least one person who is like that in our own life. What if that person was you? Or me. Anyone of us. What can you or I do to make such an impact? For others. Ourselves. This is purely a rhetorical question. There is absolutely no need to answer.
Something to be aware. Put it in your personal tickler file. Bring it out often to serve as a reminder of the good things in life. Just some pondering...
