First we hired a buyer's agent, then we hired a closing coordinator who we are now training to do the short sale package coordination as well. This has really relieved a lot off of Nestor who was doing most of the collecting of the documents for the short sale packages. It has relieved me of a lot of phone calls and taking care of title and all of that. Gloria is great. We really appreciate her work she is doing for us. She is a virtual closing coordinator and works from her home. If you need a good transaction coordinator let me know and I will give you her email address.
Just yesterday we decided to enlist in the virtual and web services of Marey Hoeppner. She came highly recommended to me by Brandee Bradford who is one of my coaching clients. Brandee is in Georgia, we are in Florida and Marey is in Michigan. What a small world we become because of the internet!
I was impressed with what Marey has done for Brandee and I am already happy with what she has already started today doing for us. She will be taking all our listings and putting them in our point 2 website, something that is really behind schedule. She is also helping us with internet research, mailings and inputting our listings in the MLS.
We debated whether to hire an assistant locally to come into the office or to hire a virtual assistant. Since we work from our home and we like to do what we want to do when we want to do it we felt we did not want to be tied to having to be here all the time. I also did not have the time to train someone and was looking for someone who already knew how to do the things that need to get done. I already gave Marey a list of things to do and now I am adding to that list as we move forward with all this new business we get from Active Rain and our Expired marketing program.
