Do you love America's National Parks? Do you enjoy getting something for free? Mark your calendar for the upcoming "National Parks Day" or "Founders Day".
One hundred and three years ago on August 25, 1916 President Woodrow Wilson established the National Park Service to “conserve the scenery and the natural and historic objects and the wildlife therein … for the enjoyment of future generations.”
In the Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay Area, go to https://www.nps.gov/subjects/npscelebrates/nps-birthday.htm to find events to consider participating in.
