I love gardening. I have learned a lot about it and learning means growth but also often requires hard work. In gardening that hard work is physical and exhausting. I have more lilies than most and while they are magnificent, they require more time to clean up than the time they are in bloom. So another couple of hours today in the process of that clean up. After a couple of hours I need a break and I take one lest I plant myself in their place.
It is hard Brian but really good exercise. About to take my second shower today. Sheila
Good morning, Sheila Anderson we had rain last night.... the weeds are starting to come through the mulch, again.... I'll be pulling those out tomorrow....no humidity and in the 70's

Hi Grant. My grass has finally greened up but the lillies are toast and it is hard work removing them. Sheila
Hi Sheila- I have to admit that as much as I love a beautiful garden the one thing I never liked was weeding. Take it easy.

Thanks Kathy. it feels good once it is done, but I am still waiting on that. Sheila
My garden is the place i go to relax, this year i got some of the weed fabric and tested on half my gardens. It worked great at keepng weeds at bay. The last rain storm gave life to new weeds and today found me speding an hour pulling, that was not very peace full.

My yard is slightly overgrown right now. For one reason or another, it has been especially robust in growth this year.

Hi Scott. I weed but I also need to cull and cut back a great deal of perennials. TY Sheila
Morning Sheila.
It has been a long time since I've pulled weeds. I did pull some tasty peppers yesterday.

I've been gone for five days and I can't wait to get outside and tend to my flowers and such. I do know a full day in the yard can really kick your butt, though. You're smart to take a rest when it begins to feel like too much. The plants will wait for you. D
