We prepare every day for the future conditions in the real estate business that we are forced to face. Facing them head on is certainly easier said than done.
The way we address this challenge will either make us stronger and wiser or result in our demise in the real estate business. After 41 years in the business, I continue to experience fear of the future.
A relaxed attitude is not my style! Although, my efforts are never chaotic. They are well planned and executed. Don’t be fooled. The fear always exists subconsciously and surfaces when I begin to relax and/or slack off.
Keeping your head in the business is an exercise that needs to be utilized every day. The frequency of the implementation of that task will eventually make it a function that’s “second nature.” That was always my ultimate goal, and it IS second nature now, no matter where I am.
Is that excessive? Not in my opinion. If I miss the business, someone else will be the recipient. Not on my watch!!
