There are signs of autumn among the various offering this morning.  Broccoli was the first thing we noticed this morning.

Kabocha squash is here again.  We enjoyed the colors and the arrangement.

Heirloom tomatoes abound, the colors of these large yellow one caught our attention.

Garden of Eden did a wonderful arrangement with these red and yellow sweet peppers!

Wishing you all an abundance of Saturday Smiles and a Splendid Holiday weekend.

Looking at the pictures I would be planning a meal with all of these together.

Michael Jacobs we have had a cool summer, and there is definitely the hint of autumn in the air.  When we lived in Napa, I could see in the distance the trees begin to yellow.  I thought of that a couple of days ago.  A

I BBQ-ed some squash, we grew in our garden, it was perfect. Those peppers would be in my basket if I was strolling your farmer's market  Alexandra...

Morning Alexandra.

Our local tomato growing season is coming to a close, pity.  It won't be long before the hothouse ones, will be the only ones around

Hi Alexandra... those sweet peppers have my mouth watering for some. I think I'll pick some up later today when I'm out.

Hello A, I could see good uses for the Broccoli on my veggie cold pizza with cauliflower and ranch dressing and cream cheese with mozz cheese.

In the midst of Hurricane Dorian news here in Orlando and what a nice reprieve
for a few moments for something faithful and normal like the Santa Barbara Farmers Market.  Somehow a couple photos reminded me of the time of the year and upcoming Halloween and Thanksgiving Day!

Oh my! What is so striking is that is was the last day of August and the photos look like the farmers are ushering in the fall a little early this year. I'm good with that but, hope for a longer fall and shorter winter! We've had 3 back-to-back freezing, cold winters that seemed to last forever!

Those heirlooms look amazing - I could slice one and eat the entire thing with a little pepper - YUM!
