The anatomy of high converting real estate landing pages

We are a big fan of Neil Patel and his video series of no no-nsense online marketing. In one of his recent video he talks about the 7 specifics required for high converting landing pages. While not all are applicable for all type of landing pages (e.g. real estate landing pages), many are, so here is the summary of his video.

Step 1 - Clear value proposition as a bold headline between 6-8 words!

Step 2 - Visual focus - large photo or video of the product that captures attention, text is not enough. Visual focus requires the least amount of attention span

Step 3 - Features and benefits with the main focus on benefits, the problem that is being solved. 

Step 4 - Single call for action above the fold - once the clear headline stated the value proposition, and the visual focus captured the attention and benefits were explained, it's time to convert. 

Step 5 - Testimonials and reviews - this may be not be applicable for listing landing pages but is certainly required for product landing pages of other type. If possible, reviews should be always included with conversion pages.

Step 6 - If the product requires financial commitment from the visitors as well, it's crucial to to provide trial or money-back guarantee to reduce the perceived risk. 

Step 7 - Story telling - this is the most generic requirement stated in the video, but in general, telling a good story is very powerful way to reach visitors at an emotional level. This may not be applicable easily  for real estate listing landing pages, but can be a very powerful marketing tool for other product types.
