Does the return of the NFL affect Sunday Showings?

By

Standing in the front row of Kenny Chesney at Gillette Stadium I took that picture. What does it have to do with Real Estate? Well it is the start of the NFL season and here in the Manchester NH area, things stop when the Patriots come on.

Yes that means in real estate too. Slowing slow down and if not come to a stop. But today the game is at 820pm and that means today was a mad house.

Now the second question you may have is why am I not at the game right now? Yes I wish I was, but work calls with new listings, new buyers ready to buy and contracts to write. It is just too busy to take a full Sunday off today. But work stops at 820pm....

Work resumes Monday morning with my infamous message, that perhaps the most important message is that all agents are not created equal. That consumers should take the time to hire the best, not the biggest agents or agency. That my philosophy is simple, to provide more personal and professional service to guide my clients through each step of the buying or selling process.

I am often amazed at how Open House traffic doesn't really deminish much during football season.  I have seen a whole lot of football widows come through during game times. They may come alone, but often drag their husbands in after a day or so!

Good morning, Scott Godzyk when it's a night game or a 4:00pm game, our open house events are very busy.... we had 20 couples at one of them yesterday....and 10+ at the other two.... when people need to buy, they are out looking.....a roof is most important.....

good game last night....the Pats smothered the Steelers....

Good morning Scott. Football fans that stop everything to watch the game create opportunity for those serious about buying. Be ready to assist! Enjoy your day!

Hi Scott... can't say I've ever felt my Sundays slow down because of a football game. More likely a Saturday will slow down when one of NC or SC powerhouse college football teams plays... especially, Clemson these days.

It was a great game Barbara Todaro . Yes, many buyers buy despite a game or no game. Many husbands set teh DVR and will shout no updates please.

That they could Wayne Martin. Many a Sunday i have to DVR the game, go sell some homes and get home to watch before anyone can spoil the outcome. Selling homes comes first

That is one thng i noticed in areas of powerfu college teams that they rule over the NFL any day. I have been to many college games all over the country and love the college football energy Nina Hollander
