This sweet baby always tries to escape when the housekeepers arrive on Fridays - as most fur babies do, she hates the vacuum. So, if someone isn't home when the housekeepers are at the house, we will find her in a few different places, still hiding, when we get home. She has a break-away collar and recently lost her collar and we needed to buy a replacement - and fast.

About 2 weeks ago, the new collar arrived quickly, after putting a rush-shipment on the order. The very next day, her old collar turned up in the back of the master closet - one of her 'secret' hiding places on Fridays!

Of course, we hope she never escapes but, if she does, we home that whoever finds her will call her humans!

Debe- this is so cute! I can just picture that cute baby hiding in the closet. When Larry rescued our Lucky from a hunting lease she'd never been in a car or house. The first few months she would bolt outside when I ran the central vacuum. Give Ray my best.

Ahh, thank you! I can't imagine how terrified Lucky would be, never being in a house and then the vacuum coming on! I would have the same reaction - get the heck out of here!

I just hung up with him. We figured out the video conferencing and he has enjoyed that several times a day - thank goodness. That has been a lifesaver, for sure!

That is what Shadow did when I vacuumed. I left my closet door partially open so she knew she had a safe place to go. She often slept in there. She still is and always will be a scaredy cat. She rides well though in my travels.

She is and every time she's gotten out in the past, we've seen her but, 3 or 4 girls show up to clean and leave the door open as they bring their things in. I worry that they don't pay enough attention so, I take every precaution when they're coming, Michael Jacobs.
