September 17 is Constitution Day!
Many of us who went through the school system in the United States, at least those in my generation, can recite all or part of the Preamble to the Constitution.
This day is about recognizing and commemorating the Constitution and the freedoms in it that were set forth by our forefathers.
Since September 11, 2001, I’ve carried with me in my travel bag these small copies of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution of the United States. They are a reminder to me of how much I love my country and am forever grateful to have been born here.
Did you know…
Benjamin Franklin was 81 and the oldest delegate to sign his name. He had to be helped to sign his name.
( Marte Cliff might enjoy this fact) There is an incorrect word in Article 1, Section 10. See if you can find it!!!

If you really want to have some fun there’s an Interactive Section too. If you have young ones at home this would be a fun way to get them involved in learning more about the Constitution.
If it’s been a while since you read any of the documents, you can read them here.
