I met our neighborhood Literary Guild ladies at the iconic Brick Oven Pizza restaurant in Provo Utah the other day. Brick Oven is located right next to the Brigham Young University campus. It is a super popular place to eat, especially for young families as it is cost-effective and they have the option of the all-you-can-eat salad bar, pasta bar, and breadsticks. I ordered the salad bar and breadsticks. I didn’t order pizza this time. This is not the first time I have been to Brick Oven.   Day’s Market is my favorite neighborhood grocery store. It’s just a few blocks from my home, so I can walk there in less than 10 minutes. I remember, as a child, there were small neighborhood candy stores and grocery markets. Most of them are no longer around. Big grocery chain stores replaced the small stores. While the sales may be better at the larger chain grocers, the convenience of walking to a store and picking whatever I need for dinner is valuable. Day’s has all the essentials you need from fresh produce, an amazing bakery, your poultry and meats, all your dairy and non-dairy products, snacks, toilet paper, and all other essentials. This month, we went to the BYU (Brigham Young University) Museum of Art. One of the perks of this museum is there is no entrance fee. Museums have become so expensive to visit these days.
