Well this Atlanta home inspector and his wife have been in a major writing slump for about the last two weeks and niether one of sees the light at the end of the tunnel for coming out of this.  We had written a couple of tutorials and not even gotten one comment.  Then we send out funnies and get all kinds of comments, I for one am confused.

So here we are summer is upon us and I have been busy, the kids are out of school so Bonnie has been busy with them and she has already informed me that she is headed to Ellijay in the near future and she is not taking the computer with her.  So if you get to wondering, no we haven't disappeared, summer is just upon us.

Sometimes you just need some interesting happenings in your life to have new material.  You never know what people will comment on...

All the best!

Yes, I have. You need to read the blog I wrote yesterday on writers block. Start writing about something - anything and soon the creative juices will start flowing.

I think that we all go through slumps of some kind.  Just keep it up!

Maybeit is time to look up to see what there is to be writing about.  Remember who it is that provided the jobs, homes to inspect, kids, spouses and everything else we take for granted so many times.  If you concentrate on theat you will never lack for things to write about.

Kevin and Michael, there seems to always be something going on interesting, just not in the inspection field, so I was trying really hard to focus on that, BUT I think I'll just have some fun and write whatever.  lol

Michael, I will be visiting there soon, I always get a good chuckle from you and Bubba, by the way that is what my daughter calls her brother, too funny.

Tony & Darcy, don't worry I'm far from quiting ;-) but I may be taking a break at the lake or something cool with the kids.

Wayne, that is so true, I could write about my Lord all the time, that is another reason I haven't been writing here, I've been spending some really goood time with HIM, He has a way of getting everything back in perspective when I mess it all up and get it off kelter.  Matter of fact, I'm out the door to go spend even more time with HIM.. later

Bonnie and David... I can understand the slum as it is easy to do... Good to see you back on-line... As far as mixpo, I do not use that format... I think that it may have something to do with how on-line services compress the video and strip frames...

Michael, it's good to be back, tho (this part of the we, ie Bonnie)  is not going to be on here much during the rest of the summer, we have decided that there is so many more important things to do like ummmmm go swimming, go to the mountains and all that stuff.  We'll be back when school starts back full time, until then Catch us when you can. lol

I think you will find tutorials will not get you many comments, but can get you lots of clients. It is a weird thing, that the funnies you write get comments, but no business, and the business posts get you no comments but money!

I try to do a good mix of both, because I do realize that the people who subscribe to my posts are my future referrals, but my local audience is what I really need to focus on and if I show my knowledge, then they may hire me and that is my real goal.

I'm always in one, it's hard when anything is forced and not natural, and sometimes, you just don't feel there is anything to say that hasn't been said before.
