Here are the island wide Maui sales stats for homes and condos for September, 2019. The amount of single family homes that sold in August Increased compared to July. The median sale price for homes increased as well. The amount of condominiums that sold in August decreased quite a bit compared to July. The median sale price for condominiums increased slightly although the amount of total sales decreased during August.
Single Family Homes:
In August 98 single family homes sold with a median price of $837,500 and an average price of $1,414,165. At the end of August there were 443 single family homes for sale on Maui which is approximately 4.7 months of inventory.
Through August 722 single family homes have sold with a median price of $755,000 and an average price of $1,052,215. The median sale price has increased 7.9% the first eight months of 2019 compared to the first eight months of 2018. The average sale price has increased 1.7% the first eight months of 2019 compared to the first eight months of 2018. The average Days On Market for sold homes on Maui is 134. Homes are selling for an average of 96.3% of list price.
Condominiums:
In August 117 condominiums sold with a median price of $496,950 and an average price of $654,070 At the end of August there were 458 condominiums for sale on Maui which is approximately 3.7 months of inventory.
Through August 1,088 condominiums have sold with a median price of $515,000 and an average price of $696,966. The median sale price has increased 3.5% the first eight months of 2019 compared to the first eight months of 2018. The average sale price has decreased 4.6% the first eight months of 2019 compared to the first eight months of 2018. The average Days On Market for sold condominiums on Maui is 132. Condos are selling for an average of 97.5% of list price.
