The First Frost

Our seasonal changes are much more subtle here, mainly I'm sensing a different quality to the sunlight.

It sounds like you have a lot of work ahead of you, but it is good that you enjoy that work.

Fall cleanup in the garden is almost done, I still have a few items on my list.  We are expecting a high of 75 today.  It is dark now when we wake up at 5AM.  Have a great day!  A

Hi Sheila- we have needed rain here and we are definitely getting it today. Thankfully, it hasn't stopped the birds from eating at the feeders. 

Everyday is a new challenge and an absolute blessing. There you go - that's the Sheila I know!!

I didn't have my glasses on when I read your first line, Sheila.  At first I thought it read, "I'll be 86 on Sunday."  I was sitting here thinking, I thought she had her birthday a couple months ago and was an Aries!

Wow, summer is not - yet - gone and already frost. Sounds like what I remember from living in the Boston area, though. Hard to believe you already had to use your heat!!
