A neighbor and I did our part to  help make "Sex and the City" a hit.  Like me, my buddy, Jean, has a bit of a crush on Mr. Big, played by Chris Noth.

I enjoyed the film.  It's set in New York, a city where I lived during my mis-spent 20's.  It was a great place to be a kid.

The TV series was addictive, at least to me.  While my time in New York was not quite as glamorous as the series or the movie, it was really fun.

My friends and I worked for airlines and traveled around the city and around the world in search of love and additions to our wardrobes.  We were probably more like Charlotte than Samantha, and we didn't drink quite as much as Carrie and her friends.  But our parents probably would have been appalled if we had been less discrete!

The movie was fun, and if you're in the mood for something mindlessly entertaining, I recommend it highly.  And I think that Mitch Hall had a cameo role in the coop-buying scene!

Patricia, I've heard as well from the women Realtors in my office that saw it that they liked it. I think our guys take on it (I haven't seen it), was that it was a chick flick. We all went to the horse track. You know, the ponies and gambling and all.

It was a lot of fun.  If you were looking for a date, there were about 20 ladies for every gent in the theater.

All the best!

Pat, glad you liked the movie.  My wife may go to see it with her girlfriends or we may just wait till video.  I did get to see Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) yesterday when she spoke at the breast cancer fight rally before the Race for the Cure in D.C.

My Assistant and her girlfriends treated me to the Friday afternoon matinee to see it.  It was fun.  How about that closet?  Hello?  I found myself being very worried about how the real estate transactions were being handled?   It was a fun field trip to be out of the office and take a break.

I gotta get to this movie! I was thinking chic night but my husband actually wants to see it. I didn't follow the series, mostly because I don't watch much TV - but followed it. How bizzare is that???
